    STOP! YOU ARE REWARDING YOUR DOG FOR PULLING

    If your dog wants to go and sniff a tree and pulls you towards it (with tension on the lead), then every step to you take towards the tree becomes a reward for pulling. Your dog is learning that if it pulls you hard enough, for long enough, frequently enough… you will give in. Sadly, it is easy to end up in a situation where we have trained our dogs to be persistent leash-pullers.

      How did you first hear about Kira Canine Code?

      Disclaimer

      The following is a list of terms we supply to all our owners. Please feel free to contact Canine Code if you have any queries.

      • I shall ensure that my dog wears a council tag and is currently registered.

      • I shall notify Canine Code if my dog has ticks or any other contagious health issue when admitted to care.

      • I shall ensure that my dog is currently vaccinated.

      • I acknowledge that once I have made a booking with Canine Code and paid a deposit, I will do all possible to honour it. If circumstances change and I am unable to meet my commitment I accept the deposit is non-refundable.

      • I agree to provide an adequate amount of food for my dog's stay.

      • I acknowledge that Canine Code is not responsible for any damage or injury caused to my dog, property or any third party and that I am liable to cover any damage caused during this boarding term or any boarding term in the future.

      • I acknowledge that if my plans change and I am away longer than initially advised I will contact Canine Code as soon as I am able and will agree to pay any additional dog minding charges incurred.

      • In the event of an emergency, I hereby permit Canine Code or any representative to authorise any veterinary care deemed necessary and I will be liable for any cost involved.

      • I acknowledge that should I not notify Canine Code to any changes in my return date, that after a period of fourteen (14) days Canine Code has the right to remove the dog from care with the owner having no claim whatsoever.

      • Canine Code reserves the right to alter rates at any time.

      • Canine Code reserves the right to refuse any dog.

      Please note that all inquiries are subject to availability and that no booking is confirmed until you have paid a deposit and received a 'Boarding Confirmation' email.
